The difference between OS1 and OS2


     The OS1 single-mode fiber is used for the ø-band (original band original): 1325 to 1360 and the Ç band (conventional band - conventional): 1530-1560mm, while the OS2 single-mode fiber overcomes the water peak effect of 1383 mm. Its applicable band is expanded to four, namely: O band (original band - original): 1325-1360mm, E band (extended band - extended): 1360-1460mm, S band (short band - short range): 1460 -1530mm and C-band (conventional band - conventional): 1530-1560mm, except for the application of wavelength, the transmission distance and channel bandwidth are different. OS2 fiber completely replaces OS1 fiber from working wavelength and parameters.
